FFA Scholarship Recipient 2024

McKenzie Hoekstra

Each year at the California FFA State Conference, we present a $1,000 scholarship to one high school senior. This year we are proud to share that we awarded this scholarship to a very deserving and wonderful student.

Kenzie Hoekstra is a senior at Ripon-Christian FFA. This scholarship will go towards her education at Oklahoma State University, where she will be majoring in Ag Communications and minoring in Animal Science.

Kenzie would like to thank the Golden State Ag Foundation committee, supporters and sponsors for their time and commitment for the ag youth.

Our foundation was a Gold Emblem partner of the 2022 California FFA State Finals, and our Board Member Maddie Kerlee presents Cameron Ivy from Golden Valley FFA with a 2022 FFA scholarship.

Harvest of Merit Award

The Harvest of Merit Award Program provides funding and other in-kind support to assist recipients. Assistance may include but is not limited to: the purchase, care, and feeding of animals; construction and related costs and development of agricultural mechanic and/or ag technology projects; costs related to plant and crop science programs and; costs related to the successful pursuit of experiences in culinary/food science endeavors.
